Over these five years, there was always a common denominator in my structured discipline for Hailey. How she saw life, herself and how she allowed others to effect each. In the beginning I taught her to see her life moving forward, as a linear progression. It worked really well, teaching her to move forward constantly 'baby steps', so to speak. These '360 lessons' were the next step, as she needed to see her life (and her mistakes) from all angles, to keep from repeating her mistakes and also as a way to encounter the dangers, she seemed always to miss. I explained that just like a dog that circles before lying down, due to being aware of any dangers. She now will see her like in that persepective to avoid any snakes in that grass, she mat encounter.
