With Hailey and I (and our disciplinary understanding) she knows that repeating certain behaviors is essentially disobedience. Yet, she had many times, but was also getting so much better. When she confessed that she once again let malevolent people get inside her head (a driving part of her 'crossroads' she found herself in) I told her that I would give a special spanking, before sending her home. I took into consideration how well she had been doing up until then. So, I let her choose the number, as I chose the implement. It was the cane and the one implement, she dreaded most of all. She called me from the road home, just to let me know, she still felt the sting of the cane, like it was a 'layer, sitting on top of the other soreness' from that day's spankings. She cared enough to call me, just to let me know this. Since this day, her career has been on fire, as well.
