Let's face it, if you are a true blue spanko growing up with shows not overwhelmingly politically correct was what we lived for at the time. There was no better example of the 1950's domestic discipline scenario than 'I Spank Lucy'. We talked about shooting this for awhile. When the stars alligned it was destined to be and we are very happy with the way it turned out. Doing something iconic can be a very tricky thing. I am sure there are those that will love it, others that will believe we have soiled the memory of this show to the core. One thing I do know is this, Nikki Rouge, who does such an amazing Lucy tribute, made it very easy for me to follow suit and become the Latin-macho, paper reading, wife spanking Ricky Spankhardo.

After Lucy was told to do her ironing and that she "could not be in the show", a phone call from Ethel distracts our zany redhead from her chore. The iron is left face down on the shirt Ricky needed for the show rehearsals that evening. Ricky surprises Lucy by coming home for lunch. " Lucy I smell something wonderful! Are you making me lunch?" Lucy tries to hide the shirt from Ricky behind her back to no avail. When Ricky sees what her carelessness has done to his costume shirt... He takes off his belt and spanks her in the Spankhardo family tradition!

Lucy was left by Ricky to finish her chores with her lingerie panties pulled down in an embarrassing fashion. Seems that all her pre-occupation with the idea of being in the show had left our adorable, red- headed wife in a tip forgetting, fugue state. Well Brandon from the' White Cow Milk Company' had had enough of this weekly occurrence ( or had he? ). Either way, he takes a red bottomed Mrs. Spankhardo over his knee for a alternate payment method that was approved by Ricky himself.

Remember the phone call from Ethel regarding a special birthday surprise for Ricky? You know… the one that caused her to burn his shirt? Well, Lucy has the dog (perro ) delivered in secrecy by Mrs. Quirtz ( wink) herself. Ricky comes home earlier than anticipated, which causes Lucy to have to think quickly to hide the perro from Ricky. Next, are the hilarious antics of a terrified Ricky encountering a growling blanket! Even though he warmed to the idea of the dog being named 'Lil Ricky', that isn't the only "warm" going on in the Spankhardo residence... Btw, It wasn't Ricky's birthday
