When you are the disciplinarian of a beautiful person (as is Hailey) You will understand that she is has her strong moments and her moments of weakness. I simple have her look to the horizon and help her to remain in balance. She has been on an emotional rollercoaster for several months, so understanding that and making her spankings, as much about punishments, as to have her keep her eye on the prize, becomes a responsibility when dealing with a woman who is tough and yet a butterfly, as well. I chose the paddle, because it was one that I acquired for Tiki, when I first met her, and she was going through a similar balancing act. Because Tiki was coming into her own through reinvention, my severity had to keep her from quitting. She needed to be constantly reminded that her reinvention , could have no compromise. Hailey does not have that to the degree that Tiki did. I always tell Hailey the stories behind the implements I use. She feels a connection that way.
